This to me is an absolute dreamy apartment. I love the white color throughout because it makes it feels more open and spacious. And I also like the location because it’s by the beach. If you know me, you know I love being close to the water.. Especially the ocean. Another reason I like this conversion so much is that it used to be a basement! And for me it’s always exciting to see people convert their garages, basements, sheds and turn them into something so beautiful, useful and functional like this. Get more info and photos on this tiny apartment studio that was once a basement right here.

  1. I think this apartment is beautiful. I don’t see the pipes the reader spoke of–yeah I went back and specifically looked for them. The closest is a metal dish cloth holder in the kitchen. I would be glad of the smaller windows in this location. Larger windows would look that the steps coming down into the apartment as this ‘house’ is below grade, there wouldn’t be any view to look at. I would be very pleased to live here with 1 of my cats and my harp. Thanks for posting.

  2. Personally I think this is a beautiful basement conversion. I don’t understand why a number of commenters state that they don’t like the windows; if it used to be a basement then this may be all that is possible. Also, appreciate that these windows can offer excellent privacy for you as nobody will be able to see in.
