“When we designed the Swift, the shape of the language we chose the Finnish sauna, the essence of clarity and the simplicity. Spacious room, spacious living room and a large, covered terrace giving saunatuvalle your own, unique look. Slim design to facilitate the swift placement of the sloping terrain. Saunatupien alongside the planned guest house accommodation in additional models need to resolve it.” Translated with Google Translator (source)

Would You Add a Loft to this Shotgun Shack Tiny House?

Isn’t this tiny shotgun shack cottage just awesome? To me it’s like an oversized tiny house on wheels except this one doesn’t have a loft. If it were mine, I’d definitely add a loft into the design. I’d most likely use it as the bedroom and convert the existing space that’s used as a room into my office.

Foundation Tiny Houses Better for Couples & Families?

I can see a slightly larger design like this working better for couples and small families who want to live tiny/small for a longer period because of the extra space. That’s where it pays to plan to build on a foundation instead of on a trailer even though you lose the mobility.

What Would You Change to Make it Yours?

What would you change about this little house to make it yours? I’m also curious, if you’re building in the future, do you plan on doing it on a foundation so you can go larger or do you plan on building on wheels?

How to Spend a Few Nights in this New Orleans Shotgun Shack

If you happen to be in the New Orleans area you can always check to see if you can book a stay in this house.

“This charming house has central air, jacuzzi tub, rain shower head, flat screen TV, and private backyard area. Two blocks from Magazine Street, restaurants, coffee houses, shops and much more. Convenient to all public transportation. I live next door in separate house, available for information about city. I am a real estate agent and owner. This is a great area to walk. Everything close grocery store if you just want to cook at home kitchen is fully equipped. Take the Magazine bus to Central Business District, French Quarter in 15 minutes. Near to Audubon Park, Garden District, laid back neighborhood, rent a bike, its a great area for bike riding. As one guest mentioned it is truly one of the best parts of Magazine Street.” (source)

I absolutely love how they’ve got the kitchen set up outside this way the interior doesn’t smell like food and it avoids all the oil build up and stuff like that which always happens over time especially in a tiny space. I LOVE this porch.

Small, sweet, quiet, eco-minded guesthouse and sauna perched on a ravine in the forest 1 1/2 miles from Seneca Lake and the Finger Lakes Wine Trail and 3 miles from the Finger lakes National Forest. The cabin sits in the woods on the edge of my yard and gardens with my small house about 200 feet away. This is luxury camping.

There is a screened-in porch facing the ravine set up as a living room but shares it with a shower, claw foot bathtub and gas stove. Outside, a deck with seating, fire pit (with firewood) and a clean, composting outhouse about 20 feet from the cabin. There is no toilet inside the cabin. On the inside there is a small kitchen, table and chairs and a door to wood-fired cedar sauna with an opening window to the porch/bath.” (Source)

A Very, Very Tiny Cabin in the Woods

super-tiny-cabin-in-woods

I ran into this cabin over at the Small Cabin Forum. It’s an 8×8 cabin with a loft. If you look at the background you’ll notice the outdoor shower too. It’s amazing how much you can really do with such a small space. I love the porch and the steps that they added. I encourage you to take a look at the rest of the photos including the interior over here at the original post. Would you consider going this small? To me this is beyond tiny! I can’t decide whether I’d call it micro or tiny.
