  1. I have to say i do agree with you as to how much they are asking for some of these tiny homes, when there are listings of homes with acreage and not just a set of wheels under it..!

  2. Bud,
    This one’s for you.
They are going to live there, not camp. Even a high quality camper like airstream isn’t made for full time living. That is a dual axle 10000# trailer. It has real flooring, walls with real insulation, real windows and door, real plumbing, real electrical, solid wood finishes. That was built profesdionally, hence some of the cost was labor. Are you including your labor? These are quality built homes not campers. You could spend a quarter mil on a camper if you want , but you don’t have to. You could spend $38000 on a quality built tiny house, but, you don’t have to! Many tiny living is not for you. That’s OK.
    Have a nice day.

    1. I live in South Florida and I see 10,000 lb load bearing trailers every day, worked with them bought and sold much higher weight bearing trailers at very reasonable costs and as for all the other Items listed in your lil note, is picked by you along with your labor costs. It is not only building people homes to live in but keeping the cost down responsibly because if you remember people where turning to tiny houses for it’s affordability as well as creative ways in keeping down the costs in order to make them affordable. Oh by the way I am a small home dweller, and love it because of it’s affordability…! And it ain’t no Airstream either, No offence to Airstream unlike this gentleman, I do like their products.. But far beyond what I am looking for to live in on a full time bases as so many of your customers do.. I guess he does not read the listings page to often to realize there are people who do live full time.. loL…!
