  1. I have been to Dumas’ estate, the Chateau de Monte Cristo, and have seen and taken many photos of his darling writing studio, Chateau d’If. What a delightful jewel box this tiny place is!! Getting there is an easy day trip from Paris, so if you ever have the opportunity, don’t miss it!
