Beautiful custom sliding doors like the one you see above can be used to disguise your stacking washer and dryer in a tiny house or for any other sort of storage space.
I love how in this case they used what seems to be like an old office door. It even still has the corporate logo on the window. And if you don’t like the idea of using a combo washer dryer in your small space, you can always plan and design for stackable units instead.
This way your clothes dry faster because with the all in one units it just isn’t the same. Drying takes longer because it’s usually not vented.

I want to know more about the sliding door, please. Anyone have tips? I used a kit that I purchased from Home Depot, but want to construct something like what is in the photo for another door. Thanks!
Marie: Best thing is to search building salvage facilities in your area. Old doors like that turn up with regularity. You’d be surprised what you find. Where are you located? Glad to point you the right direction if you are still looking….
