For me it’s always nice to take a look at small cottages like this that were built back in the day.
Back when the American dream wasn’t so ridiculous. Then it wasn’t so much about McMansions and fancy cars as it was just to simply live and be happy with quality products.
I wasn’t alive during the 1950s but it was always my favorite subject in history class. And I still admire the 50s very much today.
It’s hard to tell because we don’t have any more photos of this particular house but my guess would be that it’s around 800-square-feet or so. What do you think?
And if you are in the United States, what does the American dream to you mean right now?
That’s a nice little house. I am mainly interested in houses in the 600 to 800 sq ft range. The ‘FabCab’ has a nice functional design. And a few others I’ve seen lately……
I’m also interested in having everything one gound level. I’m browsing the Coachella Valley, Ca for future move. Palm Springs, Desert Hot Springs, Sky Valley, Yucca Valley, Cathedral City, maybe even Joshua Tree
Looks really great! I can picture a Christmas tree behind those windows…and a snow covered landscape!
