My husband bought this small cabin about 6 months ago. The gentleman that started building it about 7 years ago became sick and could not finish it. It sat for 5 years without anything being done to it. The logs were never sealed and were in bad shape. Floor joist were rotted out because it sat with no doors on it. We can only work on it one day a week. It is 70 miles from where we live now in Chattanooga and we both work. Hopefully we will be far enough along to move in by Thanksgiving. It is 16×38, 2 stories, It will be 1 bedroom and an office upstairs, Living room, kitchen, and bath downstairs.

  1. someone needs to take the paint sprayer out of this guys hands!! Paint all over the foundation and roof…. yuck.

  2. The roof is being replaced and the foundation will be painted. That is why we did not have to be as careful with the paint spraying.
