A murphy bed like this would do wonders in a tiny or small house because you can put it in your living room so that it can serve you in three different ways. With this piece of furniture you can make the area a dining room, a bedroom or simply open up the area for guests to hang out in or for you to practice yoga. More info on it here.

  1. I work for Inova, the company that manufactures the above mentioned “murphy” style bed. Our Patent TableBed (shown above) has just been installed in over 1,000 suites at the new Disney Art of Animation Resort. We also have TableBed’s, Sofa-WallBed’s and other products installed at many Marriott’s, Hiltons, Military Base’s and the list goes on!! For more on our products please visit us at http://www.inovallc.com and check out our videos http://www.inovallc.com/videos3.html.

  2. As I can appreciate a fine finish, is that rose wood or cherry? Do all of your beds come with a full guarantee or warranty? Do you all manufacture a twin bed?

  3. The image shown represents a Cherry finish over Maple Veneer. We offer our beds in a variety of finish over Maple or Oak Veneer as well as solid and wood grain finishes on Melamine / Laminate. We manufacture everything in Upstate New York. We can make the TableBed, Sofa-WallBed or WallBed in any size from Twin to King (Eastern / Western / Hotel). I would love to send you more pictures and pricing if you are interested. You may go through our website and fill out the contact information. I will then mail you our full literature package. We can also supply finish and fabric samples upon request.

  4. I thank you M’Lady for your speedy replies. I am not ready yet to build but when I get ready I’ll contact you all for sure. I like this idea and the beauty of it all and what I want to do is build a geodesic tiny house. My major was Industrial Arts on the college level so I can venture an educated guess in what I would be getting into, excellent. The Murphys of the 30’s and 40’s were so ugly no matter how they were covered up.
This is the first time I have become aware of the three different styles.
