This couple purchased the travel trailer so that they could completely re-do it. It was pretty banged up as you could see (especially the inside). But just shows what you could do with something that already exists. Just takes time, patience, a little bit of money, and lots of labor.
They completely gutted it and rebuilt it from scratch and I think they did an amazing job. They even rented a garage just so they can do this. Read the complete and original story with even more photos here. It was later put up for sale as you can see here.

I really appreciate all the pictures! It really gives you a feel for the place when you see it from start to finish.
This is very cool===just one Q—is there a set of tanks for water; sewage etc? Not shown that I saw in the pics and not sure where they would be! Have never used this kind of vehicle. Would not want to be dependant on an RV park for this stuff!
Wow. Pretty amazing transformation. That is one heck of a lot of work.
Really all that was salvaged her were the lines of the old unit, the trailer frame and siding. And did you actually rework those windows? There had to be some parts salvaging going on there. This is great guys.
I started helping on a project like this once by the time we got to the bare frame it became a utility trailer by the owner. I would have loved to finish that one but it wasn’t my call. This is beautiful and the determination obviously didn’t sway these young folks from finishing their project. A hell of a lot of work and my hat is off to you. Nostalgia and adding all the modern touches the way you did is absolutely admirable. I so respect you kept the siding around during the entire project without damaging it further and weren’t fanatical enough to completely mill it. I love seeing the little imperfections in the exterior but I would put a rubber mat chip guard across the front (I can’t believe I have the nerve to offer suggestions to the people who did this), great job and I sincerely hope you intend on showing it often. It’s a prize winner for sure. Thanks for all the photos, they just add to your pride and respect to this era of RV travel immensely. I have to credit you also with your interior design, totally modern and you captured an absolute hint of the original era which is a head turner to say the least. I’m in awe! Happy travelling.
I love the brightness you put in with the multicolored interior. I am so glad you went with the softer colors too. Very, very nice job, kudos to the both of you. love those custom cabinet styles! Add a little solar shower out back with a hula hoop and shower curtain and you are good to go! I hope it sold for a nice price for all the wonderful work you both put into it! God bless and keep you happy trails!
