You Can Buy this Whimsical Floating House
…but it’ll cost you! With an asking price of $450,000. Worth it if you can afford it, I guess.
But the point for me is to show you just how much you can do with such a small amount of space and a lot of creativity.
I’d so much rather have a 740 sq. ft. home like this, on a normal foundation or on a floating one, than any cookie cutter 1200 sq. ft. counterpart. Wouldn’t you? (sorry… dumb question, I know..)

What a ridiculous price! No takers on this one, I’ll bet!
From what I hear Seattle prices are just really high. So maybe somebody out there already in the area and used to the prices may take it who knows!?
This “Tiny Home” has more countertop space than my actual HOUSE does—and a much nicer kitchen and–well–almost everything—than my house does too. If I win the Lottery please let me know where to send the check!
To me this is the most perfect house. Of course since it is in Seattle, that explains the high cost. But if I had money, this house would be MINE!!! LOL
I know I think it’s so great too besides the price of course but still so inspiring to maybe model from and build on your own piece of land some day, ya know
The price is ridiculous.
I totally agree – floating home for me!!!
