This to me is an absolute dreamy apartment. I love the white color throughout because it makes it feels more open and spacious. And I also like the location because it’s by the beach. If you know me, you know I love being close to the water.. Especially the ocean. Another reason I like this conversion so much is that it used to be a basement! And for me it’s always exciting to see people convert their garages, basements, sheds and turn them into something so beautiful, useful and functional like this. Get more info and photos on this tiny apartment studio that was once a basement right here.

It always makes me happy to see people making the best out of something that already exists and this 800 sq. ft. 1917 humble cabin is a perfect example of that. It has been left completely unchanged besides required maintenance and restoration which is really rare. It’s built from all redwood in a village called Inverness in California which is between Tomales Bay and Point Reyes National Park.
The half doors are still there, so are the glass windows, open fireplace and original redwood planking. The cabin has an enclosed sleeping porch with 2 single beds and a master bedroom. There’s one bathroom with a shower inside but there’s also an outdoor shower available on the property. Learn more here. It’s available as a vacation rental. Check rates here.

This tiny vacation home is just 8 minutes away from Downtown Healdsburg and is situated next to a large pond in a 52 acre redwood forest with trailers.
And you’re only about 200 feet from a road that leads to 34 Dry Creek Valley wineries. This would be a pretty sweet vacation as well as a chance to try out living tiny before seriously investing any time or money into a project of your own.

Here’s an Airstream that’s currently being used exactly how I’d use a tiny house.
I’d park it by a deck and I’d actually hardly ever move it. If I had an Airstream, I’d probably move it quite a bit!
But this little Airstream is for rent in Altadena, California as a vacation rental.

“Experience the novelty (and fun) of staying in a tiny house on wheels, with inspired views of Fallbrook’s scenic hills and valleys. Surrounded by an orchard of avocados, passion fruit, guava, lemons, limes and oranges, your tiny house is both private and comfortable. Pine paneled with vaulted ceiling, it has a sleeping loft, a hobbit sized room with comfortable futon day bed sleeper and a galley kitchen with sink, refrigerator and coffee maker.
Your tiny house has convenient adjacent parking and is close to the main house on the property. The setting is quite nice with landscaped beds and a canopy of big trees. The neighborhood is reminiscent of the Tuscan countryside with a Mediterranean climate-sunny and dry with close to perfect temperatures. The air out here is wonderful and the sounds of nature abundant.
The Fallbrook/Oceanside location offers a great launching base to see Southern California. It’s about twenty minutes to the beaches of Oceanside and about thirty minutes to the wine country of Temecula. The town of Fallbrook, America’s Avocado Capital, is about fifteen minutes away and has a charming downtown with lots of restaurants. The Fallbrook countryside has an abundance of horse ranches and easy access to magnificent hiking and riding trails. San Diego Zoo’s Safari Park, SeaWorld, Legoland, Encinitas, Delmar’s Racetrack, La Jolla’s beach and shopping are just short drives away. Take a day trip to the renowned San Diego Zoo or the world class museums of Balboa Park. San Diego’s airport is about fifty five minutes drive and Orange County’s John Wayne Airport is a little over an hour. Disneyland is about an hour and fifteen minutes away. This is truly a great location to enjoy the sights and sounds of San Diego and Orange County.

Here’s a nice tiny house on wheels you can rent in Fallbrook, California. I caught myself staring at these pictures for a good while until I decided I had to share it with you.
This looks like the perfect place to stay if you wanted to experience what it’s like living in a tiny house or if you just want to get away for a bit and enjoy vacation in a very pleasant setting with the view of Fallbrook’s beautiful hills and valleys.
The inside looks like a nice place to relax and enjoy after experiencing the beaches and all the adventures in Southern California (Nice canopy and the owner also has a couch bed inside, too.)
Had to add this pic of the stunning view nearby.
